MOUNT RORAIMA- Expedition to the Crystal Mountain. (7 days / 6 nights - 2 nights at the top)
Mount Roraima is a unique place in the world. It is not only because of its very special and ancient geological formation (Not to mention its endemic biology); but also because of the emotions the adventurers feel in this “Lost World” that, for billions of years, was isolated from the rest of the planet becoming an “Island in Time”.
This giant silent witness of the creation of our world, has its highest point in a rock formation called “Maverick” (2,810 metres above sea level), since from a distance its silhouette suggests the shape of a car.
On this expedition we will visit the most important places of great landscape, scientific and mystical significance. We will visit places like "La Ventana (The Window)", "The Jacuzzis", "Salto Catedral" and we will enter the heart of Roraima, through a cave called "Crystal Eyes", discovered in 2005 by Czech explorers; in addition, the presence of so-called "speleothems", which are silent witnesses to the existence of cosmic life, before humans started walking on Earth.
At the end of this expedition, we will understand the scientific and mystical aspect of the formation of the tepuys, the endemical biology and the ancestral indigenous culture of the Pemons.
