Rio negro Boat Trip

This five days trip is recommended for people those who are interested in exploring the Amazon on a longer tour discovering the rivers and dreeks of the Amazon. Come and enjoy the fantastic Amazon jungle doing this fantastic adventure on board a boat with private cabins, with beds and with air conditioning.
Safety is very important to us and the use of life jackets is mandatory.
Activities
Tour Description:
DAY 1 – At 8:30am you are taken from your hotel to the Ajato port located close to the municipal Market. After doing a short tour through the Market, you leave for the meeting of the Waters, the junction where the Solimões river and the Negro river meet. From there, you leave for the Janauari Ecological Park where you can see water lilies, monkeys and other animals from the region. After Lunch, you boat starts a three hour journey. Along the way, you stops at an indian village where a ritual dance is performed for visitors. Video taping and photograph taking are permitted. From there, your journey continues to a place called Jaraqui where the night is spent.
DAY 2 – After Breakfast, you leave for jungle trekking from 7:45am to 11:30am. Information about the forest and medicinal plants will bem ade available. You wil also learn aabout spiders na insects found in the region. The afternoon activity starts at 2:30pm and goes up to 4:30pm; Piranha fishing. Then your boat leaves again to another área called Cuieiras where the second night will be spent.
DAY 3 – From 8am to 11:30am, you visit some local families. For the moment you live their simple but nor ordinary life. You learn about their costum and realize how importante the fores tis for them. In the afternnon from 2:30pm to 5pm, you canoe through the forest exploring small channels and creeks. Before it gets dark, you return to spend the night.
DAY 4 – From 7:30am 11am, another jungle trekking is done. Then the return journey begins. After traveling for about 3 hours, you reach na área known as Acajatuba. You go Bird watching, piranh finishing and Cayman spotting when it gets dark. Tha ends day number 4.
DAY 5 – From 5:30am to 6:45am, you leave to see the Sunrise, to watch birds and possibily see monkeys. Breakfast is served at 7:30am. At 9am your boat leaves to another área where you can swim with the dolphin. Getting there you will swim with them, take photographs with them and even vídeo tape with them. After that, you go swimming at a beach in the area. At 12:30pm, lunch is served. Just after at 1:30pm you leave on your journey trip to Manaus. Arrival time is abbout 4:30pm. The tour ends when you are taken back to your hotel or to the airport.
What to bring for your jungle tour:
Long pants, short pants, long sleeves shirt, t-shirts, Small daypack, sunglasses, insect repellent, rain coat, cap, boot or tennis shoes, flashlight, Binoculars, swimming suit, Camera, batteries and charger (there is 110 volt electricity.
Very Important
When travelling to the Amazon and to South America in general, make sure you are vaccinated against yellow fever. Get more information about this from your doctor.
